Jesus answered and said to them, âYou are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.
For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.
But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying,
âI am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacobâ? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.â
And when the multitudes heard this, they were astonished at His teaching.
God is only God of the living not the dead. Since God made their soul alive, God can establish a relationship and declare to Them that He is their God. And because we belong to group of Abrahamâs Descendants After Him Through Our Lord Jesus Christ who also received the Free Gift. So, when we say The God of Abraham, The God of Isaac, and The God of Jacob⌠that means Their God is Our God also.
